Coaching is about change, and change is a psychological process. With a background in counseling, Dr. Walsh has a psychological orientation in working with clients. Her approach is to help executives use coaching as a learning tool to impact bottom line results. Managers and executives often partner with her to accelerate their growth as strong focused leaders.

Dr. Walsh lived and worked in London and Tokyo before basing her practice in New York. During her time in Europe and Asia, her principal clients were individuals who sought coaching to manage their careers while they were working internationally.

In addition to her private practice, she is a frequent speaker at international conferences and educational seminars. Her dynamic and often humorous presentations make her a sought after presenter on career management topics.

Recently, she led a coaching workshop for HR executives in Washington, D.C.  In the fall, she was invited to lecture to college students about international careers.  She was part of a small delegation to China that met with government officials, college administrators and industry leaders to discuss career development issues.

She completed a management assessment of an acquired US subsidiary for a German manufacturing company.
