Ed Eichhorn is president and founder of Medilink Consulting Group.
The former officer and senior vice president of radiology service company Medical Resources, Inc., 
Mr. Eichhorn has extensive experience managing all administrative functions of the business that operated 55 imaging centers in nine states. He was in charge of everything from marketing services, sales training, IT and managed care contracting to the corporate bonus plan and the corporate compliance program. Mr. Eichhorn also has spent more than 25 years in the management of medical companies in the areas of nephrology, medical devices and medical services.
He founded BioTrax International, an innovative mobile medical testing service that brought specialty testing to physician’s offices and clinics in 38 states. He also served as director of research and development for the Erika Division of National Medical Care.
Mr. Eichhorn developed and was responsible for all sales training and radiation safety programs at Medical Resources and his company, BioTrax International.
He has been a featured lecturer at Stevens Institute of Technology on the topic of employment for engineers and at Fairleigh Dickinson University on the issue of design of artificial internal organs.
Currently, he runs business seminars at the Russ Berrie Professional Sales Institute at William Paterson University titled "Essentials of Value Selling in Medical Markets" and "Presentation Skills for Medical Managers."
Mr. Eichhorn serves on the board of directors of Revici Bioactive Lipids, where he provides business development and marketing guidance. He is president of the Stevens Institute of Technology Alumni Association and serves on the school's board of trustees. He has been a board member and legislative chairman for the National Coalition for Quality Diagnostic Imaging Services (NCQDIS), where he coordinated lobbying activities and helped to formulate the legislative agenda for the organization's 2000 member clinics.
Mr. Eichhorn also shares his expertise as editor of Medilink’s newsletter, The Three-Minute Read, which provides health care executives with concise discussions on key radiology issues.
Mr. Eichhorn earned an engineering degree at Stevens Institute of Technology and completed his MBA at Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he majored in Industrial Management.
